Let’s Get the Ball Rolling. What’s Needed From You.

Submit a 1-page "Benefit Letter" outlining how you and the University would benefit.
Submit your "Benefit Letter" at the same time of your degree application.
Have met satisfactory academic standards in prior studies.

Guidance and Advice

We are not necessarily looking for high academic or sporting achievers, but are more concerned with the fact you can cope with university life and pressures.

What’s important is to outline in your Benefit Letter how you plan to contribute to the University, and why your circumstances deserve a scholarship.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I get a reply on the outcome?

Upon submission of your required documents, we will acknowledge it within 2 – 5 business days.

After that, allow up to 1 month for the review process to complete and to receive a formal reply on the outcome.

Is this limited to young people only?

We don’t discriminate on age. Whether you are 25 or 55, we accept all scholarship applications and will assess them regardless of age or nationality.

What if I withdraw from my studies part way through my course?

We understand that circumstances do change, and if you feel the need to study too time-consuming, then there is always the option to study part-time.

If you still wish to withdraw from your studies altogether, then that’s fine, though keep in mind, if you would like to recommence your studies in the future, then your scholarship will no longer be applicable, and you will become a full-fee paying student.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?

No. Only one scholarship is available per faculty, and only one scholarship application can be accepted per person per calendar year. This allows others the opportunity to obtain a tertiary education rather than allocating more than scholarship per person.

Can I change courses mid-way?

No. Once you start a scholarship, you cannot change course mid-way.
