A Bachelor of Arts degree is a four-year college degree that covers standard general education requirements and then allows students to specialize in an area of interest.
The Bachelor of Arts provides you with the necessary academic and intellectual foundation for graduate coursework in disciplines as varied as law, teaching, journalism, international relations, and media.
Arts subjects encourage self-expression and creativity and can build confidence as well as a sense of individual identity. Studying arts subjects also help to develop critical thinking and the ability to interpret the world around us.
There are many jobs you can pursue after graduating from a Bachelor of Arts. Some of these roles will draw on the skills you’ve earned while completing a particular major. Others will take advantage of the generic skills possessed by arts graduates, such as the ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and perform research.
